- Tiger Brands signs BLSA Integrity Pledge
Tiger Brands CEO, Lawrence Mac Dougall, has publicly committed the Group to maintain the highest standards of integrity by endorsing the Business Leadership South Africa (BLSA) Integrity Pledge.
By signing the Integrity Pledge, the company has committed to:
• actively combat corruption practice wherever it may appear;
• refrain from engaging in anti-competitive business practices;
• have zero-tolerance for corruption; and
• protect whistleblowers and provide information.
BLSA serves to provide a united voice for corporate South Africa to engage with stakeholders including government, labour and other key players in society, to create a more inclusive and prosperous economic environment.
As a company, we believe that businesses – individually and collectively – should take the lead in facilitating socio-economic change to bring about a more equal, stable and prosperous society.
“We are very pleased to be part of this initiative by the BLSA,” says Mac Dougall. “We support it without reservation and we expect our staff, our business partners and associates to hold themselves to the same levels of ethics and integrity to which we have committed ourselves. As South Africans, we need to ensure that we have a solid foundation, supported by a strong ethical disposition to create jobs and uplift our communities.”

Tiger Brands Charity Golf Day 2016
On the 3rd of February 2016, Tiger Brands hosted its ninth annual Charity Golf Day. The charity event was held at the Houghton Golf Club in Johannesburg, whereby 130 of Tiger Brands’ employees, customers, suppliers and stakeholders participated in the charity event, giving them the opportunity to build and strengthen relationships while giving back.
Proceeds raised, amounted to R 150 000 and will benefit one of our CSI beneficiary, Cotlands, a non-profit early childhood development organisation that addresses educational and social crisis in under-resourced communities by establishing early learning playgrounds and toy libraries to serve vulnerable children aged birth to six years.
As players worked their way around the course enjoying the company and sunshine, they were also introduced to some of the leading brands that make up Tiger Brands’ consumer offerings; Black Cat, Mrs Balls, KOO, All Gold, Crosse&Blackwell, Energade, Beacon, Tastic, and Jungle. The golf day ended with prize giving dinner where players went home with prizes such as food hampers, TV, food vouchers and many others. The evening was filled with laughter and fulfilment of being part cause that contributed towards children in need.
